Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: Oct 5, 2026
In short
- Only upload photos or recordings of a real person if that person has given you explicit consent.
- No impersonation, deepfakes, face swaps, voice cloning, sexual or intimate content, or anything involving the sexualization of minors.
- Every prompt, script, and uploaded photo is screened automatically before generation. Requests involving public figures, impersonation, face swaps, voice cloning, or nudity are blocked, and repeated attempts suspend the account.
- In ads, AI presenters describe the product. They never claim to have used it, and AI-made content is disclosed where required.
- Breaking these rules can get your content deleted and your account closed. Serious cases are reported to the authorities.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you upload to Klakix, every prompt or script you write, and every output you create or share.
1. Photos and recordings of real people need consent
You must own what you upload or have all the permissions needed to use it. For people in particular:
- If a photo shows an identifiable person, or a recording contains someone's voice, that person must have given you explicit consent to upload it and to have it processed with AI for the purpose you choose. If it's you, you give that consent yourself.
- If the person is under 18, the consent must come from their parent or legal guardian.
- Effects that show two people together (such as a hug) need the explicit consent of both people.
- You must be able to show us that consent if we ask for it.
- Don't upload photos, videos, or voice recordings collected from the internet or social media without permission, for example by scraping.
Tools built around a person's photo (Image to Video, Effects, Talking Photo, and UGC Ads) ask you to confirm this consent, and that the person isn't a public figure, before each generation. The same rules apply everywhere else. We store that confirmation, including its wording and the time you gave it, with the generation. Using someone's image or voice without consent can also break privacy, publicity, and data protection laws, and you're responsible for that.
2. What you can't create
You must not create, or try to create, any of the following:
- Impersonation of a person or organization, or any use of a real person's image or voice to deceive others.
- Deepfakes: content that shows a real person saying or doing something they didn't consent to, or that's meant to make viewers believe it's real footage of a real event.
- Face swaps: replacing the face of a person in a photo or video with someone else's face.
- Voice cloning: audio that copies or imitates a real person's voice.
- Content using the likeness or voice of public figures, such as celebrities, politicians, or public officials.
- Sexual, sexually suggestive, or explicit content, nudity, or pornography, whether the person is real or AI-generated.
- Any content that shows minors in a romantic, intimate, or sexual context, and any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children.
- Content made to harass, bully, humiliate, threaten, blackmail, or defame someone.
- Fraud, scams, fake reviews, and misleading advertising, including presenting AI-generated people as real customers or their words as real reviews.
- Misleading or unverifiable claims, especially about health (for example that a product cures a disease, causes weight loss, or reverses aging) or money (for example guaranteed income or easy money).
- Content that promotes violence, hatred, terrorism, or crime.
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or someone's personal rights.
- Content designed to mislead the public on matters of public interest, such as elections.
- Anything else that's illegal where you live or where you publish it.
- Trying to get around our safety filters, or these rules, to create any of the above.
3. Features we don't offer
To keep the Service safe, Klakix has no face-swap feature and no voice cloning. Voiceovers and talking photos use only the stock voices in our voice list. We don't identify private individuals from their photos: the automated safety check described below only looks at whether a photo shows a public figure or nudity.
4. AI-made ads and UGC-style videos
If you use Klakix to make ads, including UGC-style videos with an AI presenter:
- The presenter can describe the product, show it, and explain what it does. The presenter must not claim to have bought, used, or tested it, or share a personal experience or result that never happened.
- Don't present an AI presenter as a real customer, and don't present a script as a real review or testimonial.
- Don't make health, medical, cosmetic, or financial claims you can't back up, such as before-and-after results or promised earnings.
- Follow the advertising rules of the platform you publish on and the consumer protection laws of the countries you target.
Many consumer protection authorities, including the US Federal Trade Commission, treat fake or invented testimonials as deceptive, whether a person or an AI says them.
5. Tell people when content is AI-made
Some laws and platforms require you to label AI-generated or AI-edited content, especially realistic content showing people, and ads. Examples include the EU AI Act's transparency rules and the AI labels required by major social and ad platforms. When they apply, you must follow them. Whatever the rules, when you share an output that shows a real person, make clear that it was created with AI.
6. How we enforce this policy
Before every generation, what you write (prompts, scripts, voiceover text, and template fields) and the photos you upload go through an automated AI safety check. It blocks the likeness or voice of public figures, impersonation of real people and words or endorsements attributed to them, face swaps, voice cloning, and nudity or sexual content. When you create an image or video without uploading a photo, the output is checked too, and an output that breaks these rules is deleted. Blocked requests don't use any credits, and deleted outputs are refunded. If blocked requests keep coming from an account in a short time, the account is suspended automatically and reviewed by our team.
Our AI providers' own safety filters may also reject some requests; when that happens, your credits are returned. When we receive a report or suspect a breach, we may review the generations involved. If we find one, we may delete the content, limit your account, or suspend or close it. In serious cases, such as non-consensual intimate content, content involving children, or fraud, we close the account without warning and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
7. Report misuse
If you think your image or voice was used on Klakix without your consent, or you see content that breaks this policy, email [email protected]. Describe the content and, if you can, include a link or the date it was shared. We'll review your report, remove content that breaks these rules, and let you know the outcome.
