What is Vidu AI?
Vidu is a video generation model from ShengShu Technology. The company was founded in March 2023 in Beijing by a team from Tsinghua University's Institute for AI Industry Research, and launched Vidu 1.0 in April 2024. In October 2025, Yicai reported Vidu had 30 million users in more than 200 countries and more than 400 million videos generated.
Vidu is offered in the Vidu app, on vidu.com, and to businesses through an API. Klakix isn't affiliated with ShengShu Technology; we use Vidu's template engine through an API, alongside other video models in the same account.

What are Vidu Q2 and Vidu Q3?
Vidu Q2 is best known for reference to video: you upload up to seven images of faces, places, or props, and the model blends them into one consistent clip. It can also animate between a first and a last frame. Vidu Q3, mentioned in ShengShu's February 2026 funding announcement, makes 16-second clips with synchronized sound in native 1080p.
Neither Q2 nor Q3 is available on Klakix. For your own scenes with sound, use Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, or Google Veo; for a scene built from several reference photos, Seedance 2.5 Reference does a similar job.
Vidu templates on Klakix
Every Vidu clip here comes from a ready-made template. You don't write a prompt: upload a photo (some templates take more than one), and you get a short video. The price is fixed per template and shows before you start. If a clip doesn't finish, the credits are refunded automatically.
